Bar Exam Prep from Your Own Outlines, with AI

The short version: you already have outlines — hundreds of pages of them. Most bar prep makes you re-buy a course on top of what you wrote. Notedeck works from your own outlines — it builds a clickable map of each subject, teaches it back to you in an AI classroom you can interrupt with a question, and generates MBE-style practice with an answer key and a rationale for every option, so you drill the reasoning that survives an unseen fact pattern.

Why re-reading outlines stalls

Passing the bar is a reasoning exam, not a recall one. Re-reading a 200-page Contracts outline does not build the judgment an MBE item tests — you need to apply the rule to a new fact pattern, see why three options are traps, and track which rules you keep missing. A static outline never quizzes you and never explains the miss. Repeat takers especially: the February sitting is mostly retakers, and the gap is targeted reasoning, not more passive reading.

What you can do

  1. Upload your outlines — your own, a commercial set you annotated, or past MBE sets. Scanned pages work; the vision pipeline recovers text.
  2. Have it taught back to you. The AI classroom walks a subject, works hypotheticals, and answers when you raise your hand — ask it the fact-pattern twist you’re unsure about.
  3. Generate MBE-style practice with rationales. Every option gets an explanation — learn why the distractors are wrong, then export to Word or drill daily.
  4. Keep a mistake notebook. The rules you keep missing surface for focused review — the highest-leverage study in the final weeks.

It works from your material, so there’s no reconciling a new course against the outlines you already trust.
